This is my go to BOUNDRY SETTING statement!
Here’s another few
“That sounds great, but I think I’ve got something on!”
“That doesn’t sit well with me!”
“Sounds good but I prefer to do this date.”
“I may be able to, just let me try and fit that in, oh sorry, next time would be better.”
These are positive statements for people who say YES to EVERYTHING because they can’t say NO.
(Also you have to work out why you say yes to everything and shift that belief, but that’s another post!)
BOUNDRY’S TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TREAT YOU. Don’t be too rigid, don’t be too flexible!
There has to be a balance. 50% say yes, 50% say no (especially when you WANT to say no!)
Your body wants this in balance.
If you have a yuk urgh bad feeling about saying no, sit with it, feel it, deep belly breath, wait for it to pass and say to yourself, ‘All is well, all is well, I honor my time and energy.’
